Children’s screenings for the summer school holidays at the Leamington Spa cinema

Vue Cinema in Leamington Spa has announced the latest set of family blockbusters to hit the big screen for the summer school holidays. For youngsters who might be experiencing their first outing on the big screen, the chain has introduced Big Shorts screenings.

The short and sweet screenings offer a relaxed big screen environment with low lights and low sound, tailored for young movie fans ages 1-4. The cinema also offers families a cheaper big screen experience called ‘Mighty Mornings’.




The deal will mean select films will be shown on weekends and school holidays this summer, from just £2.49 when tickets are bought online. The theater is also looking forward to welcoming some of the summer’s biggest blockbusters, such as Pixar’s Inside Out 2 on June 14 and Illumination’s Despicable Me 4 on July 12, to top the box office.

Alongside this, the cinema is set to show some older family classics as part of Vue’s Back On The Big Screen Family Treasures season, which includes Toy Story 2 and every live-action Marvel superhero Spider-Man outing.

This includes the Tobey Maguire trilogy, Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man films and the latest Tom Holland trilogy, including Spider-Man: No Way Home later This summer.

General Manager at Vue Leamington Spa, Shaf Hussain, said every film fan discovered their love of stories on the big screen from their first visit. “That’s why we’re looking to make this experience as memorable as possible for our young audience to really help build their love of movies with the family with our Big Shorts and Mighty Mornings offerings.

“With some incredible new hits, family treasures and even some preschool favorites heading to the Vue, we’re excited to help families and young people enjoy their first trip to the Vue, as well as every subsequent visit.”
