Hidden gem Bristol bar serving liquid nitrogen cocktails perfect for summer

Summer is here and that means Bristolians can get out in the sun and enjoy the heat waves. It also makes a cool and refreshing drink idea much better and more desirable.

Bristol is home to many different places to grab a drink and socialize with friends and family, but there are many hidden gems that are worth trying at least once. Brozen Bar in the city center is one such place that offers something incredibly unique.

Brozen Bar serves cocktails with liquid nitrogen, a mixture of dessert and alcoholic drink, which delights many in the summer. It also serves regular cocktails and other alcoholic beverages along with bar snacks.

Run by twin brothers, hence the name, Brozen Bar has made a name for itself with its range of flavors that can be found in frozen cocktails. Serving up classics like the Pina Colada to homemade creations like the Big Lebowski, there’s something for everyone.

We ventured to the bar in the middle of a recent heat wave and the atmosphere inside the bar is so relaxed it makes you want to socialize and relax. It feels like a cafe, but has the charm of a bar.

The staff at work are so friendly and make you feel welcome. They are always helpful when it comes to recommendations and know how to make the experience exceed what is expected.

We ordered a variety of drinks, including the Big Lebowski and Pina Colada, while I had the Mutiny on the Bounty, a non-alcoholic drink. Not only do the drinks look great, but they also taste amazing.

The Big Lebowski is so strong and the coffee flavor really comes through. Despite being a small cocktail, it can pack quite a boozy punch, so be careful.

The Pina Colada was refreshing and full of flavor and looks amazing. My Mutiny on the Bounty was extremely refreshing and sweet and didn’t taste like a non-alcoholic drink, it could have easily passed for a boozy drink without anyone thinking otherwise.

Co-owner Joe, said: “The one drink I would recommend to anyone coming in is The Big Lebowski for coffee lovers. For those who don’t like coffee, the Pina Colada is a big hit.”

Being inside the Brozen Bar, time seems to fly by so fast because the atmosphere and company, as well as the incredible drinks, make the time spent so enjoyable. With liquid nitrogen cocktails starting from £10.50 and soft drinks from just £5.50, it truly is an understated gem and perfect for a hot summer’s day.
