According to the report, the killer’s name is Robert Maudsley. He is considered to be Britain’s most dangerous serial killer. He holds the record for the longest prison term. This man has been in prison for 50 years. He is lodged in Wakefield Prison. It’s an 18ft x 15ft cell and to get to it, you have to go through 17 steel doors. This prison is also bulletproof.

As reports suggest, in a book called Inside Wakefield Prison, authors Jonathan Levi and Emma French have provided more information about the Robert Maudsley cell. The table chair in his cell is made of cardboard. The toilet sink is also fixed to the ground by screws. At the bottom of the cell is a small slot, with the help of which food is given.

Robert has been in prison since he was 21 years old. But the reason why he is in prison is quite surprising. For this, people do not understand whether to call him a murderer or a savior. In 1974, Robert killed a 30-year-old criminal named John Farrell, who used to sexually abuse children. In 1977, Robert, along with another fellow inmate, killed another criminal named David Francis. He too was in prison for child sexual abuse. He killed him very brutally.

Robert was imprisoned at Wakefield Prison in Yorkshire. But even there, a year later, on July 29, 1978, he killed a criminal named Sally Darwood, who killed his wife. Robert didn’t stop there. He also killed another criminal, Bill Roberts, who was jailed for raping a 7-year-old girl.

After these murders, it was considered unsafe to keep him among the regular prisoners and because of this a special glass prison was built for him when it was ready in 1983 and he was moved to that prison. He had once said of his experience of being in prison that he felt like he was imprisoned in hell. Now Robert is 71 years old and imprisoned in the same prison.
