Police are issuing an urgent appeal for a missing boy last seen near Wigan

Police have expressed “genuine concern” for a boy named Zak who is currently missing from his home. Zak was last seen in Upholland at 5.30pm on Friday (June 28).

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a gray t-shirt with black writing, gray shorts and gray NIKE trainers. Lancashire Constabulary has not released Zak’s surname, but describes him as 5ft 10in tall, slim, with short, wiry hair.




A picture of Zak has been shared on social media by officers who are urging anyone with information to come forward. A spokesman for the force said: “This is Zak. He is currently missing from home and we are really concerned for his welfare, so we are now appealing to the public for help,” reports Lancs Live.

They added: “Zak was last seen in Upholland at 5.30pm on 28/06/2024. When last seen he was wearing a gray t-shirt with black writing, gray shorts and gray NIKE trainers.

“He is described as 5’10, of slim build, with short, wiry hair. If you have any information that could help us find Zak, please contact us on 101 quoting 1698 25/06/2024. “.
