BBC Glastonbury fans say ‘you’ve got it wrong’ as Little Simz sings

Many Glastonbury fans say organizers “got it wrong” when Little Simz took to the Pyramid Stage on Saturday.

The British rapper, musician and songwriter has also appeared at Worthy Farm, with shows on the Park and West Holts stages. This year it was the penultimate act on Saturday, before headliner Coldplay.




The 2021 Mercury Prize winner received a standing ovation when she appeared on Saturday night and many fans watching at home took to social media to have their say.

Bobby said: “The Big Pyramid stage at Glasto, you know. No one deserves it more.” Pete said: “Just unbelievable. @LittleSimz took it to a whole new level on the Pyramid stage. Amazing.”

George said: “Glastonbury you’ve got it wrong, Little Simz should be headlining” and Chad said: “Little Simz!!! That’s it, that’s the tweet.” Kara said, “The volcanic set. #LittleSimz should be headlining the Pyramid scene next year. What an amazing and electrifying live show.”

Little Simz’s performance was fourth at Worthy Farm. Coldplay will close the festival tonight, Saturday, with a show between 9.45pm and 11.45pm.
