Arrest made after violation of protective order – KBSI Fox 23 Cape Girardeau News

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KBSI) – A man was arrested June 25 after a report of a violation of a protective order. Deputies determined that Brent A. Battles Jr. had been served a copy of the Emergency Protection Order by Williamson County earlier that day.

Petitioner stated that Battles Jr. sent her threatening messages even changing her phone number to continue contacting her. Another conformer also reported that the suspect was sending lewd, offensive and threatening messages.

Battles Jr. was found in Marion, IL and cited for violation of a protective order. He was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
