Man City ‘identify’ Kevin De Bruyne’s replacement, Manchester United offer Jadon Sancho

Manchester City have reportedly identified their replacement for star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The Belgian has been an integral part of City since arriving shortly before the appointment of Pep Guardiola. His ability to pick a pass and his consistency make him unstoppable when on form.

However, De Bruyne’s deal expires in 2025 and the midfielder has already spoken of being open to a move to Saudi Arabia for several years. With the end nigh for De Bruyne at the Etihad Stadium, Caught Offside suggests the Blues have identified who they want to replace.

City are understood to be keen on a move for West Ham United attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus. The former Ajax man was a revelation for the Iron in his debut season in England, scoring 18 goals in 48 appearances.

Kudus is apparently not considering leaving the London Stadium at this stage, but as we know, things can change quickly. Elsewhere, TeamTalk understands City are one of four clubs who have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is persona non grata at Old Trafford after a public spat with Erik ten Hag in September 2023. In January, he spent the second half of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he impressed in the Champions League.
