What time are the polling stations open?

All polling stations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Voters who chose to vote by mail must return their postal ballot package by 10pm on July 4.

If you don’t have time to return it by post, you can hand it in at your local polling station.

Can you get help on the day?

If you need help to vote at a polling station, you can take someone with you to help you, or you can ask the presiding officer for help. Large print versions of the ballot and a touch voting device will be available to help blind and visually impaired voters complete their ballot at all polling stations, Cornwall Council says.

If voters need assistance, the presiding officer can read the names of the candidates and help the voter mark the ballot. If you need further assistance to help you vote, contact Cornwall Council’s electoral team on 01872 324 196 or email [email protected].

What ID is required to vote?

To vote at a polling station you must take your photo ID with you. Accepted forms of ID include:

• Passport
• Driver’s license
• Government-issued senior or disabled bus pass
• Blue badge
• Defense ID card
• Identity card bearing the Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
