Cornwall General Election 2024 – photo ID, how to find polling stations and more

Voters will go to the polls for the general election in just over a week. If you’re planning to vote on July 4th, it’s time to make sure you know where the polling place is and what you’ll need to take with you.

Cornwall Council is also reminding voters that they will need to take ID on the day. Voters have been required to bring photo ID for certain UK elections from May 2023.




There are six constituencies in Cornwall and one MP will be elected to represent each of them. You must be 18 years of age or older and registered to vote.

How do you find your polling station?

The polling card will tell you where to find your polling station. Cornwall Council says voters should check this information as your polling station may have changed since the last election.

You can also check your polling station by entering your postcode in the polling station finder. You must vote at the polling station to which you have been assigned.
