Peacock-Farrell signs for Birmingham City

Birmingham City have signed Northern Ireland goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell from Burnley for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at AFG Aarhus in the Danish Superliga, keeping 11 clean sheets in 28 appearances as they finished fifth.

He won 46 caps for Northern Ireland and signed a four-year deal with Birmingham, who were relegated to League One last season.

Peacock-Farrell becomes Birmingham’s second summer arrival after they signed fellow goalkeeper Ryan Allsop from Hull.

“It’s a huge club with huge ambitions for years to come and to be a part of that is something I had to come and do,” Peacock-Farrell told Birmingham’s website.
