The Leicester City striker takes a cheeky dig at the Leeds United star following their Championship title triumph

Leicester City striker Stephy Mavididi continued to poke fun at Leeds United after his side were crowned Championship champions earlier this week.

After the Foxes’ 3-0 win at Deepdale on Monday, Enzo Maresca’s men secured an immediate return to the Premier League, their celebrations in full swing after the full-time whistle.

Leeds now look doomed for the play-offs after a disappointing end to the season, Ipswich Town’s win against Coventry City means the Tractor Boys need just a point from their last league outing against Huddersfield Town this weekend.

After the Whites beat Leicester 3-1 at Elland Road earlier this season, striker Georginio Rutter amplified how he felt Leeds were “the best team” and the comment angered Mavididi throughout the campaign.

Taking to social media following City’s promotion, Mavididi posted a video of himself brushing his teeth while Rutter’s interview with Sky Sports played in the background, mocking the striker in the process.

It seems the former Montpelier man didn’t even need words to get his message across, with his 13 goals and six assists helping Leicester regain top-flight status in the process.

For Leeds, their own fate is to be decided elsewhere. Huddersfield Town need to do themselves a huge favor in beating Ipswich and will be hoping they can beat Southampton this weekend with plenty still to play for heading into Saturday’s Championship climax.
