Larry E. Heather

Larry E. Heeter, 65, lifelong resident of Saybrook Rd., Sheffield, PA, died Wednesday evening, June 26, 2024, at Warren General Hospital. He was born April 3, 1959, in Warren, PA to Marvin L. Heeter and Barbara L. (Knapp) Heeter.

Larry was a 1977 graduate of Sheffield High School. He continued his education by attending Penn State Behrend. He spent most of his career in the oil industry.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. As a child he excelled in basketball and softball and continued to play both sports until he was 62 years old.

Larry was a family man who greatly enjoyed his family, especially spending time with his five granddaughters.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Left behind to cherish Larry’s memory are his wife, Hazel (Fiscus) Heeter, at home. His sons, Mark (Emily) Heeter and Larry (Chelsea White) both of Sheffield, a daughter, Crystal Heeter (Justan Studley) of Sheffield, his mother, Barbara Heeter of Saybrook, his brothers, Lee Heeter (Donna Swartz) of Pittsburgh, PA and Lonny Heeter (Kris) of Sheffield, and his nieces, Addisen and Peyton Heeter and Braelyn, Layla and Riley Studley. He is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog, Frenchy.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Lee Heeter, on May 18, 2020, and his faithful companion, his dog, Candy.

Public call hours or services will not be respected. Private burial will take place at Sheffield Cemetery.
