The driver fled after hitting a four-year-old boy with his car

A young child has been injured in a hit and run incident in Ellesmere Port.

Just before 4.30pm on Thursday, June 27, a four-year-old child was hit by a black car on Rochester Drive, near Durham Court.




Paramedics treated the child at the scene before taking him to hospital as a precaution. They suffered minor injuries and have since been discharged. The driver of the car did not stop and fled toward Thornton Road, police said Monday.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing and police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
