Live: Major road closed after serious rush hour crash near Looe

A busy A-road in Cornwall is closed in both directions this morning, Monday July 1, following an accident. The A387 near Looe is fully closed with heavy traffic in the area between Terrace Bridge and the Bylane End junction. We’ll keep you updated with our latest live blog posts below.

Road and traffic monitoring website Inrix first reported the collision at 9.12am. It read: “A387 both ways closed, slow traffic due to crash on B3254 at Terrace Bridge.”

It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved. Emergency services have been contacted for more information.
