Huddersfield men arrested in Jersey for ‘importing cocaine’

Three men have been charged with involvement in the importation of cocaine into Jersey in the Channel Islands.

Shahiukh Syed Gilani, 37, and Reece William McLaren, 28, who are both from Huddersfield, and Jersey man Terence O’Hagan, 63, were arrested last month following a joint drugs operation by Police and Customs, called Op Quaff, according to a statement from the Jersey State Police.



All three appeared at Jersey Magistrates’ Court on June 24. They are due to appear at the Royal Jersey Court on December 9.

The three men were jointly charged with the offense of being involved in the importation of controlled drugs (cocaine).
