The tenth round of the Super League is over, which means that the teams will once again anticipate the verdicts of the Super League match review committee.

The new round, for the first time, saw no charges from Super League matches, but that changed this week.

The run has had huge results with Catalans Dragons losing heavily again, this week going down 30-8 away to Wigan Warriors.

Friday night saw comfortable wins for Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves as they faced bottom of the league London Broncos and Hull FC respectively.

Elsewhere, Paul Rowley’s Salford Red Devils beat in-form Huddersfield Giants 18-16 in a game where Giants wing Elliot Wallis was sent off for intentional head-to-head contact with Tim Lafai.

Saturday brought surprises and Paul Wellens is under increasing pressure after losing 40-20 to Hull KR and their exciting brand of rugby.

Morgan Knowles was one of the players to be of particular concern after fouling out for head contact.

Castleford Tigers left it late but came from behind to draw 28 apiece with Leigh Leopards and, with no golden points extra time scored, it was the first draw of the Super League season.

Incredibly, this weekend’s results leave six of the twelve teams level on points at the top of the table.

No players have been banned this week, meaning no new players will be banned for two weeks in a row.

Catalan duo Ben Garcia and Julien Bousquet were fined for head contact and obstruction respectively.

The curious charging of Andy Ackers for “other adverse conduct” will not result in any further action, but could still cause problems for any other charges.

Jake Trueman’s Grade B dangerous contact charge saw him fined £250, as did Peta Hiku for his Grade A dangerous contact charge.

You can see the full list of fees below.

Ben Garcia – Catalans Dragons – Head Contact – Grade B (Fine £250)

Andy Ackers – Leeds Rhinos – Other misconduct – Grade A (no further action)
