Police crackdown catches Sheffield criminals responsible for burglary, theft and possession of a weapon

Sheffield Police have arrested several criminals in the south-east of the city responsible for crimes including theft and possession of a weapon.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday June 26 on suspicion of theft from Ravenscroft Crescent. He was released on bail.




Keenan Turner, 20, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary on Thursday, June 27. The arrest was made in connection with two alleged burglaries at Grizedale Close, Sothall and Garden Walk, Beighton.

Turner was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on July 30.

A 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were arrested on Friday June 28 on suspicion of van theft and both have been released on bail.

Sam Ali, 24, was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition on June 28 and was remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on July 30.
