CCTV appeal for £3,000 raid in Exhall

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man who may have information after £3,000 worth of tools were stolen. A man wearing a hood and shorts got out of the passenger side of a van parked on Ash Green Lane.

The instruments were collected on Monday, June 17. Police said officers have yet to identify anyone from the CCTV.




But they hoped that by releasing images, locals could help them. They have also urged anyone else who may have footage taken in the area around 12.40pm to come forward.

Pc Pringle Harris said: “The suspect got out of the passenger seat of a van similar in style to a Peugeot Partner, VW Caddy or Vauxhall Combo.

“We have this CCTV footage of the incident but this has not proved helpful in identifying the suspect, however we hope its release may help bring to mind people who were in the area at the time.”

The officer added: “If you have any CCTV or dash cam footage from the area at the time, please check it and let us know if you have anything that could help with our enquiries.”
