Danny Mills delivers a bold prediction ahead of Leeds United v Norwich second leg

Danny Mills believes Leeds United will need to be at their best to beat Norwich City in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final tonight.

The Whites drew 0-0 at Carrow Road on Sunday and will now return to a sold-out atmosphere in South Yorkshire as they look to a potential trip to Wembley later this month.

Leeds will be confident of beating David Wagner’s men both home and away in the regular season, but will miss striker Patrick Bamford, who has been ruled out through injury for the visit of David Wagner’s side. Connor Roberts and Dan James are, however, likely to be in the squad after recent injuries.

Mills, who spent five years as a Leeds player, predicted the Elland Road crowd could prove crucial tonight, with a hint of added stress given his former employer are now favorites to win on home ground.

“It’s not a foregone conclusion, who can handle the pressure,” the 46-year-old told talkSPORT earlier today.

“Elland Road is one of the best atmospheres when they’re rocking, the lights are on. The atmosphere is unmatched. But that comes with added pressure.

“You may get some moans and groans. The home() form is great. Everything points to a Leeds win. But I saw Leeds in the play-offs, Bielsa against Derby, it can fall apart in a split second. I hope Leeds don’t collapse.”
