Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 leaked; Get 2 colors, TFT screen

The latest spy shots of the upcoming Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 show the bike in two different colors — Matte Gray and Red with gold finish on the fuel tank and tail. The two-tone color model is probably the highest, featuring a round TFT screen that is expected to be borrowed from the RE Himalayan 450. The blue color model has a semi-digital instrument cluster along with a small round Tripper navigation module , similar to that seen on the RE Super Meteor 650. The unit has an analog speedometer with a red needle and a round LCD screen placed in the center. Read: Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin, launched in 2024

Earlier spy shots confirmed that the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will come with 17-inch alloys and black patterned tyres. There will be a one-piece seat, a split grab handle, a strong fuel tank and a round LED headlight. The bike may offer a more upright riding position. Compared to the RE Himalayan 450, the Guerrilla 450 misses out on several features such as a windshield, tank straps, larger 21-inch wheels, USD telescopic front forks, a rear rack and luggage racks.

The front suspension unit of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will be a telescopic ice fork. For power, the upcoming RE bike will use Sherpa’s 452cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is claimed to offer smoother operation with less engine noise due to the hydromechanical cam chain tensioner. Its power and torque are 39.5 PS and 40 Nm respectively. Similar to the Himalayan 450, it is likely to come with a 6-speed gearbox.

Once launched, the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will compete with bikes like Hero Maverick 440, Harley-Davidson X440, Triumph Speed 400, Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, Yezdi Roadster and Honda CB300R. The bike is likely to be priced quite aggressively compared to its rivals. Its base variant could cost around Rs 2.40 lakh and the top-end trim could be priced close to Rs 2.60 lakh.
