Nuneaton school where every pupil ‘feels included and successful’ given ‘good’ Ofsted rating

A Nuneaton school has been rated ‘good’ in its first Ofsted inspection. Lower Farm Academy in Milking Lane opened in 2019 in Milking Lane.

The newest in the town, the school was not visited by inspectors until February this year and they have now revealed a glowing report for the primary school. In it, they say it is a “caring school where students feel happy and safe”.

The report adds: “Staff know the needs of their pupils well and ensure that every pupil feels included and successful. The students enjoy their lessons.”

The report goes on to say staff have “high expectations” for the performance of all their pupils.

“Students report that there is little bullying or other forms of unsavory behavior,” the report adds. “When incidents do happen, students are confident that the staff will deal with things quickly. Students play well together at lunch and playtime.

“Students benefit from participating in a wide range of clubs. They enjoy these clubs, which develop their interests and talents. Students aspire to become members of the ‘Student Parliament’, which develops their understanding of democracy and helps them contribute more broadly to life at the Academy.”
