The Liverpool pair have attracted interest across Europe as Arne Slot could receive a $50m transfer boost

Arne Slot could be set for an extra $50 million in the summer transfer window, with two of Liverpool’s players said to be attracting interest from across Europe.

The Reds have yet to make any moves so far, although with players returning for the start of pre-season this week, fans will be hoping to see some new faces arriving soon. There has been no shortage of names linked and work is taking place behind the scenes, with talk of a move for Anthony Gordon recently stalling.




But not only income is expected. After saying goodbye to Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara at the end of their contracts, more players could be set to follow them out the exit door.

To that end, The Athletic have named some of the players who could leave Liverpool during the transfer window, including Luis Diaz, Caoimhin Kelleher and Nat Phillips.

Tyler Morton and Sepp van den Berg are also named, with the pair said to be attracting interest from clubs across Europe after impressing on loan last season. Liverpool are said to value each player at around $25m (£20m/€24m), although no suitable offers have yet been received.

RB Leipzig have recently been linked with a move for Morton, with Liverpool reportedly rejecting a bid for the 21-year-old just last week. Conformable Florian Plettenberg from Sky German however, “concrete discussions” took place.

Sepp van den Berg attracts a lot of interest

Van den Berg, meanwhile, has made clear his intentions to leave Liverpool after spending last season on loan with Bundesliga side Mainz. Speaking to De Telegraaf, the defender said: “You (Liverpool) have shown no confidence in me all this time, but you want to prevent my future. I want to keep playing every week and keep developing.
