Guild Members Invitation: 33rd Annual Ealing Beer Festival – 10-13 July

Join the trade at London’s biggest live beer festival

This year’s Ealing Beer Festival is once again taking place in the Big Top in Walpole Park. The festival will have a magnificent range of real ales, ciders, perries, world and cask ales, as well as English wines and meads.

The festival is headlined by over 340 real ales ranging from 3% ABV to 12%. Local brews will be from Marko Paulo Brewery, which operates behind the Owl & The Pussycat Micropub on Northfield Avenue, and Perivale Brewery based at Horsenden Farm. Walpole Oakey Dokey is a collaboration between the festival and the brewery and is named after the large oak tree in the park.

The event hosts the Champion Beer of London competition. Competition organizer Christine Cryne said:The beers in the competition represent London’s best cask ales, as determined by the autumn vote of CAMRA London members for Champion Beer of Britain (CBOB) and CAMRA’s London Tasting Panel..’ Judges are chosen from a wide range of licensees, members of the Guild of British Beer Writers, brewers and trained judges.

The winner will be announced on Thursday afternoon (11th July), and the Festival invites Guild members to join them to listen to the results. To get your free ticket go to: https://tckty.camra.org.uk/e/251/ealing-beer-festival-2024?access_code=trade-33.
