School of Management staff nominated in the new initiative Our People: Inspirational Women | School of Management

As part of a university-wide initiative to celebrate and recognize inspiring women in our university community, a number of academic and professional services staff at Sheffield University Management School have been recognised.

On International Women’s Day, the University launched an initiative entitled “Our People: Inspiring Women”. This new university-wide project aimed to showcase and celebrate women across the university.

Colleagues were invited to nominate women who have inspired them and share their academic and professional achievements and distinctions, as well as how they live the University’s values.

Professor Fraser McLeay, Dean of the University of Sheffield’s School of Management, commented that “The nominations of School of Management staff highlight how our inspirational women enrich our academic community, enhance the student experience and are role models for students and colleagues across the School . Some of the fellow nominees are inspirational teachers and lecturers who share insights and change the student experience, while others play a key role in building a strong and vibrant school community, sharing expert guidance and encouraging others to achieve their goals. services and academics and reflects the open and supportive nature of colleagues in the School of Management, where many are dedicated to making the School of Management a better place for all.”
