House prices in Cornwall – the latest lowest and highest areas CLASSIFIED

Camborne is the cheapest place to buy a house in Cornwall. Houses in the TR14 postcode area sold for an average of £236,074 each in the 12 months to the end of May. That’s fewer than any zip code area in our county with at least 20 sales in the past year.

Redruth is the next cheapest place in our county to buy a house. Homes sold for an average of £241,896 each in the TR15 postcode area.

It was followed by PL31 (Bodmin) with an average house sold for £242,631, PL32 (Camelford) with an average house sold for £257,400 and PL14 (Liskeard) with an average house sold for £263,317.

Fowey has the highest average sale price of any postcode area in Cornwall that has had at least 50 sales in the last 12 months. Homes sold for an average of £630,786 in the PL23 postcode area.

The PL28 area was the next most expensive place to buy a home in our county. The average house in Padstow sold for an average of £606,095 last year.

It was followed by TR5 (St Agnes) with an average house sold for £536,083, PL27 (Wadebridge) with an average house sold for £521,231 and TR3 (Truro) with an average house sold for £489,223.
