Wiltshire Police encourage us to ‘Go Far’

Wiltshire Police are urging us to ‘Go Far’ as they aim to improve safety on a night out in Salisbury.

This is the message of their behavior change campaign, which focuses on Salisbury Town Center and aims to improve safety at night.

#WeWalkAway is supported by Gifty Tetteh – the mother of Freddie Fontete-Jones, who died after being punched on a night out in Salisbury in February 2022.

They say, “We encourage people to recognize those personal, possibly violent, trigger points and leave or help your friends leave.”
