Three Warriors will start for the England Academy

Three Warriors will start for the England Academy in tonight’s clash with France at Warrington’s Halliwell Jones Stadium.

RFL Pathways England boss Paul Anderson has named the England Academy squad to face France tonight, which includes three warriors in its starting line-up.

Forward Kian McDermott will wear the number 10 shirt, while second rower Lukas Mason and loose forward Taylor Kerr will wear numbers 12 and 13 respectively.

Speaking about his squad selection, Paul Anderson said: “Over the past few days we have exposed the players to what an England environment looks and feels like, with the challenge and intensity of short-term representative training that they might experience in a day at the senior international. level.

“Now it’s almost time to put some high-quality training on the field and I’m really excited about what this group can achieve.”

Supporters can attend the match at the Halliwell Jones Stadium tonight with tickets priced at £5 for adults and £2 concessions. The match will also be broadcast live on RFL’s YouTube channel HERE from 19:15.
