A suspected murderer wanted by police in Britain has been arrested after she was found in a housing estate on the outskirts of the Armenian capital.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Police of the Republic of Armenia said that the 44-year-old man was found and arrested on Tuesday in the Vanahovit district of Proshyan village on the northwestern outskirts of Yerevan.

The statement added that the suspect was wanted by UK law enforcement agencies on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
