Matt Parish on the LFC Foundation’s most successful and impactful season to date

The parish reflected on the charity’s many highlights in 2023-24 from its official sold out legends charity match at Anfield upon his release the third social impact reportrecent prize wins and plans for the next campaign.

Speaking about the impact of the LFC Foundation, Parish said: “It’s our biggest ever, we’ve supported over 122,000 participants and generated over £80m of social value, which for every £1 raised, we transform worth £14 to our communities. , which we are super proud of.”

The LFC Foundation recently celebrated its participants and the local community heroes who help them achieve this Annual Community Awards at Anfield.

Welcoming 60,000 fans to Anfield in March, Parish revealed that this year’s Legends Charity Match against Ajax Legends was “the biggest and best Legends Game ever, with (Fernando) Torres, (Steven) Gerrard, the Sven (-Goran Eriksson) effect as well and to raise £1.2m which will focus on developing and supporting our education programs in the Liverpool City Region.”

Parish also spoke of his pride at the LFC Foundation being crowned the best PL Community Scheme at the Football Business Awards and, speaking about the charity’s ambitions for the season and future ahead, he added: “We want to support more people , to generate more revenue to enable us to do that.

“We want to grow the work we do here where we have the biggest impact and expand our work internationally over the next three to five years.”
