A much-needed addition to Sheffield’s current accommodation offering has opened, located on Pinstone Street, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield, boasting a sympathetically restored Victorian facade and stunning views overlooking the Town Hall and Peace Gardens. Its timeless design makes it a stylish addition to the Heart of the City – Sheffield City Council and Queensberry’s vibrant regeneration scheme.

With 154 modern rooms, a speakeasy rooftop Indian restaurant and bar, six flexible meeting and event spaces, an outdoor terrace and a fitness centre, the hotel is the perfect base for both business and pleasure free time.

Valerie Donaldson, General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield, said:

“We are excited to welcome guests to our stunning property where history meets hospitality. With architectural grandeur and luxurious modern amenities, we aim to create the perfect symphony of sophistication for a complete stay.

“As part of the Heart of the City regeneration project, the hotel is playing a key role in shaping the city’s new identity while staying true to its roots.”

In a direct nod to the nearby Peak District, the hotel takes inspiration from the organic shapes and colors found in nature, with natural materials combining with contemporary design to make guests feel comfortable.

Kate Josephs, Chief Executive of Sheffield City Council, said:
“We are delighted that our new Radisson Blu hotel is now open. Our significant investment and city center regeneration projects are helping us attract some world class brands and Radisson Blu is undoubtedly raising the bar for hospitality in South Yorkshire. It will be a tremendous asset to Sheffield, providing a public rooftop bar and restaurant, conference and event spaces to support our business community and setting a new benchmark for accommodation that will help us attract visitors from all over the world.”

The Lord Mayor of Sheffield was joined by members of Sheffield City Council and the Heart of the City project team to open the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sheffield.
