Freya Allan’s new film is now available to watch on Netflix

Freya Allan is currently mingling with the monkeys on the big screen, but she had to contend with a very different threat earlier in the year.

Baghead sees Allan play Iris who, following the death of her father, inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret in the basement: Baghead, a creature that will let you speak to dead loved ones – for a price.

If you missed it at the cinema, Baghead is now available to watch on Netflix in the UK and Ireland after being added to the streaming service today (June 26).

Get your popcorn ready and see if you think Baghead deserves to be considered one of the best horror movies on Netflix.

Directed by Alberto Corredor, Baghead also stars Ruby Barker, Peter Mullan, Saffron Burrows and Julika Jenkins.

It’s not available to watch in the US on Netflix, but you can buy or rent it from Prime Video, as well as watch it as part of your AMC+ or Shudder subscription in the US.

In the UK, you can also buy Baghead on DVD or Blu-ray, as well as rent or buy it digitally on Prime Video and iTunes.

We’ll next see Freya Allan in The Witcher season four, and she admitted earlier this year that she’s not looking forward to her return.

“I was afraid for a while, to be honest, but now I’m on board and we have, thank God, a great director who started us, which made it so much fun,” he recalled she. “There are so many great things to play. I’m actually quite happy.”

She has also already filmed her next lead role in the sci-fi thriller Triton alongside Josh Whitehouse and Raff Law.
