Leeds United squad news as Daniel Farke makes a surprise team change against Norwich City

Play-off football has brought a change for Daniel Farke as he looks to reset the script for Leeds United after a terrible end to the regular season. Daniel James is back in the team and on the bench after recovering from a rib cartilage injury and a torn oblique abdominal muscle.

Meanwhile, it is Archie Gray who comes in for Joel Piroe in the line-up, meaning either there will be a formation change or the teenager will be the attacking central midfielder behind Georginio Rutter at the top of the attack. No matter how he shakes, this is a departure from the norm for Farke.

To change the starting line-up for the first time this season in a game of this magnitude is out of character for Farke. Alternatively, Gray will play behind Rutter and the manager admitted he was not working with Piroe at the top of the attack.
