Coventry City ‘working hard’ to sign Sweden international, who is ‘top priority’ in transfer window

Coventry City are “working hard” to sign Hammarby goalkeeper Oliver Dovin, according to a report in Sweden, who say he is the club’s “top priority” in the transfer window.

The Sky Blues were linked with the 21-year-old towards the end of June when it emerged that an unnamed Championship club in England were interested in his services.

Now Swedish football journalist Daniel Kristoffersson, who has 66,000 followers on social media platform X, including Viktor Gyokeres, wrote: “Coventry City are working hard to sign Oliver Dovin from Hammarby. The club hopes to finalize Bajen’s goalkeeper in the next few weeks.”

The report continues: “According to Sportbladet, Championship side Coventry City have the player as their top priority – and hope to be able to sign the player in the next few weeks.
