Brewdog issues ‘important’ message to customers visiting pubs before midnight

Brewdog is offering free pints at over 70 bars today. Britons have been offered a free drink ahead of the UK general election on July 4, with Brewdog bars across the country – including Birmingham – included.

BrewDog is giving every voter a free pint of Punk IPA or Punk AF as part of the Vote Punk campaign. Lauren Carrol, Chief Marketing Officer at BrewDog, said: “Since 2017 we’ve been giving Britons the right to vote with our Vote Punk campaign, with thousands of free pints – because where better to go post-vote than the pub?

“BrewDog isn’t here to influence how you vote, but one thing we don’t love is voter apathy. That’s why we want to encourage as many people as possible to make their voices heard at polling stations up and down the country this year.

“So if you’re casting your ballot, we’d like to buy you a pint of Punk IPA or Punk AF, because exercising your democratic right to vote is definitely punk!” It read: “There has never been a better incentive to get out and vote this week. Go to the polling station, take a selfie outside and then go inside to cast your vote.

“Show your flawless selfie to BrewDog UK bar staff and we’ll reward you with a free pint of Punk IPA or Punk AF. Power to the people with a side of Punk. PS – if your selfie includes a classic #dogsatpollingstations Puppy, there’s a treat in store for your four-legged friend when you visit us!”

It said: “In life and in general elections, we don’t always agree. There are winners and losers, but it’s important to vote and make your voice heard.
