Norwich v Leeds LIVE: Championship play-off result and semi-final first leg reaction

30 minutes: A huge sigh of relief for Norwich after a big mix-up between Duffy and Gunn allows Rutter to head home a goal.

Fortunately for them, the Leeds striker was offside and the goal is scored^.

27 minutes: Considering the form with which both teams entered the play-offs, these first 27 minutes are perhaps not a surprise.

A lack of quality in the final third and with two legs to go, both sides still don’t seem particularly keen to push the pace.

22 minutes: Nunez has space on the edge of the box to finish an effort but his short left-footer whizzes well over the bar.

19 minutes: Another free kick is taken short but Giannoulis’ low ball into the box is cleared for a free kick. A scrappy encounter so far, but Leeds are struggling to clear their lines and are causing unwanted pressure on their goal.

17 minutes: Leeds deliver a cheap free-kick in an attractive area for Sara, but the Norwich midfielder doesn’t get a good hold on the shot and Meslier claims it easily.

15 minutes: It’s been a quiet start for Sargent but he gets up there well to meet a cross, although the American can’t direct his eventual effort on target.

13 minutes: Leeds’ first corner of the game is taken by Summerville but Rodon can’t connect at the near post. The ball falls to Gnonto on the edge of the box but his low, drilled effort cannot find its way through the swarm of bodies in the box.

Norwich look to break up the pitch as they have done so well all season, but Leeds do well to recover bodies and stifle the attack.

Ten minutes: We wondered if Gray’s inclusion today would see Leeds switch to a more balanced 4-3-3 formation, but the early signs seem to suggest otherwise.

The youngster is positioned in a much more attacking position – supporting Rutter up front – and it looks like Leeds have stuck with their usual 4-2-3-1 formation.

6 minutes: CHANCE! Gnonto is given far too much time on the Leeds right and fires a low ball into the box that ends up at the feet of Rutter in the box.

It’s a great chance for the Leeds striker but he gets off his line and misses the ball.

5 minutes: A positive start from Norwich in front of their home fans and they almost have a chance as Byram heads it back to Meslier.

Fortunately for Leeds, it’s enough and the keeper can pull away.
