The design of the Guerrilla 450 resembles the roadster silhouette that the company had shown during the launch of the Himalayan. A likely rival to the Triumph Speed 400 and the recently launched Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, the new model features a lower seat height and a new 17-inch alloy wheel design in place of the Himalayan’s spoked wheels. Up front, the bike gets round LED headlamps, indicators and new telescopic forks.

The spy shots also confirmed that the top models of the two-wheeler will get the Himalayan round trip. This unit offers seamless integration with your smartphone for navigation. Base Guerrilla models will have to make do with the Hunter 350 and Meteor series digital-analog instrument cluster.

Expected to be a shorter and leaner version of the Himalayan 450, the new model is 19kg lighter than the ADV model. According to reports on the internet, the Guerrilla 450 measures 2,134 mm in length, 834 mm in width and 1,115 mm in height. The Guerrilla also has a shorter wheelbase at 1,491mm compared to the Himalayan’s 1,510mm.

Although it is a smaller bike, Royal Enfield is expected to have provided the Guerrilla Sherpa 450 with a sportier engine. While the total power output is identical to the Himalayan 450 at 39.5 PS of peak power and 40 Nm of peak torque, it is expected to be more linear in terms of power delivery.

So, with just a few weeks to go until its launch, the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla is expected to be priced between Rs 2.4 lakh and Rs 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom), which will undercut some of its rivals. So would you consider this over all sorts of models like the Harley Davidson X440 or the Hero Maverick 440?
