Two men arrested in Lidl car park

Two men were arrested in front of Lidl, suspected of being involved with drugs.

Merseyside Police arrested two men in a car park near Lidl in the early hours of Thursday, July 4, who they suspected of being involved in drug dealing. The two men were arrested on Great Homer Street in Kirkdale at around 11.15am.




It follows an incident on Jennifer Avenue earlier today. They were taken into police custody for questioning.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “We can confirm that two men have been arrested following an incident on Jennifer Avenue earlier today, Thursday 4 July.

“At around 11.15am, officers on patrol saw two men in the car park next to Lidl who they suspected were involved in drug dealing.

“Two men were arrested at the scene and have been taken into police custody for questioning.”
