Live: Chaos on M5 rush hour after crash near Bristol

Following an accident this afternoon (Thursday 4th July), major traffic backed up on a key route in Bristol, with one landing completely closed. Expect traffic on the M5 Northbound before J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).

Google Maps shows heavy traffic along that route. Two cars are involved, but at this time we do not know if anyone was injured in the incident.

Traffic site Inrix reported: “One lane closed and delays due to crash, two vehicles involved on M5 northbound before J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).”
