Coventry North West general election 2024 full results

Voters in Coventry North West went to the polls in the 2024 general election.

A new Member of Parliament is elected for the West Midlands constituency, which includes the following wards: Bablake, Holbrook, Radford, Sherbourne, Whoberley and Woodlands.




Prior to the election, the seat was held by Labour’s Taiwo Owatemi, who won the seat in 2019 with a majority of around 200 votes over the Conservatives. Before that, the seat was held by Labour’s Geoffrey Robinson for 43 years.

The shock summer general election was called by Rishi Sunak on May 22, with elections taking place in all 650 seats across the UK. Since the 2019 general election, major boundary changes affecting 90% of parliamentary constituencies have come into effect.

Before the election, a Conservative government had been in power in Parliament since 2010.

Polls closed for the 2024 general election at 10pm on Thursday 4 July, with counting taking place overnight. Results from across the UK are expected in the early hours of Friday morning.
