Nuneaton man Michael Leese has been charged with multiple offenses after a police chase in Coventry

Nuneaton man Michael Leese, 18, has been charged with 15 offenses relating to burglary, theft and dangerous driving in Coventry, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Rugby since April 2024. He will appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today (5 July) for his first hearing. .

A sought-after appeal was made in relation to these offences, which included a £1,000 reward offered by the independent charity Crimestoppers for information about his previous whereabouts leading to his arrest.



The offenses included two counts of attempted robbery, 3 counts of residential burglary, 2 counts of attempted burglary with intent to steal, dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle and more.

The offenses took place from April 2024 until the 18-year-old was arrested on Tuesday, July 2, after allegedly failing to stop and following the vehicle through Keresley.
