Bradford Bulls and Featherstone Rovers launch stunning new shirts

RFL Championship sides Bradford Bulls and Featherstone Rovers have both launched stunning new shirts recently.

Featherstone Rovers have confirmed that their upcoming RFL Championship fixture against Doncaster RLFC at the Millennium Stadium will be dedicated to the legendary Rob Burrow.

The match against Doncaster, which takes place on Saturday 20th July, will be a celebration of Rob’s life.

The team will be playing in a limited edition MND jersey which is now available to pre-order.

The club has confirmed that a significant contribution of each sale will go directly to the MND Association.

The unique shirt has unique numbers 1, 7, 77 and 777 of only 777 made and features the classic Featherstone navy with white horizontal stripes.

On top of this, there is orange detailing, meaning it also has the colors of the MND Association.

Made by Hummel, the shirt also features #ONEROBBURROW on the back of the shirt.

Featherstone’s Millenium Stadium will also host as the Rugby League All Stars will be playing Ackworth Jaguars in a special Rob Burrow All Stars game.

With their game against Whitehaven set to take place this Sunday at 3pm, the day of Rob’s funeral, the club will not be playing their usual pre-match music and they will be honoring Rob with a 77 second applause before kick off.

The Bulls’ new third shirt is to honor the 90th anniversary of Odsal Stadium, and was unveiled on Monday night’s fan’s forum.

The shirt is a modern version of the one that was worn during their first full season playing at Odsal, in 1935.

It’s predominantly amber, interspersed with red and black horizontal stripes, and features a classic white buttoned collar.

Fans were first able to purchase it at the forum.

It will first be worn in a big game against table-toppers Wakefield Trinity on Sunday 14th July, and will certainly catch the eye.
