General Election 2024: Warwickshire results in full as Tories suffer devastating losses

The Conservatives suffered major losses in Warwickshire in the general election. The Conservatives lost seats in Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire, Rugby and also in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Labor now has seats across the north of the county after Jodie Gosling took the Nuneaton seat from Marcus Jones, Rachel Taylor won the Bedworth and North Warwickshire seat from Crag Tracey and John Slinger won Rugby.

In Stratford, known as the Tory heartland, the Liberal Democrats took the seat previously held by former chancellor Nadhim Zahawi. Manuela Perteghella is now the Member of Parliament for the area.

In Leamington and Warwick, Labor MP Matt Western also took his seat and will continue to be the area’s voice in Parliament.

Kenilworth and Southam were the only joys of the night for the Tories as Jeremy Wright held his seat. It is now the only area in the county where the Conservatives have a seat.
