Live: Huge police response amid reports of serious assaults in Plymouth

A Devon and Cornwall Police officer confirmed to PlymouthLive that police were called to a suspected robbery in a lane off Pike Road this afternoon. A weapon was used and it is believed to have been a bladed item.

They confirmed that the incident took place on Sunday, May 12, between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. One person was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is outstanding and a manhunt is underway. The suspect is described as a young white man.
