Queen’s Park and Maida Vale 2024 general election results

Labor held the Queen’s Park and Maida Vale constituency in the 2024 general election. The elected candidate Georgia Gould won with a majority of 14,913 votes.

Ms Gould polled 20,126 votes, ahead of second-placed Green Party candidate Vivien Lichtenstein, who received 5,213 votes.




Residents of Queen’s Park and Maida Vale went to the polls on Thursday, July 4, to choose their candidate who will be an MP in the next Parliament.

Counting of votes for the general election began after the polls closed at 10pm on Thursday night and the result in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale was published by the Press Association at 04:47 on Friday.

A total of 75,558 people were eligible to vote in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale, and of these 38,343 decided to complete a ballot, which meant that the turnout in the constituency was 50.7%.

Turnout in Queen’s Park and Maida Vale was down on the last general election in 2019, when 59.5% of the electorate cast their ballot.

  • Georgia Gould (Labour) – 20,126 votes (52.5%).
  • Vivien Lichtenstein (Green Party) – 5,213 votes (13.6%).
  • Samia Hersi (Conservatives) – 5,088 votes (13.3%).
  • Helen Baxter (Liberal Democrats) – 3,417 votes (8.9%).
  • Angela Carter-Begbie (Reform) – 2,106 votes (5.5%).
  • Irakli Menabde (WPB) – 1,792 votes (4.7%).
  • Abby Dharamsi (Independent) – 601 votes (1.6%).

Most UK constituencies have changed boundaries or names since the last general election, but analysis of previous results based on 2024 boundaries for Queen’s Park and Maida Vale shows Labor won 7,613 fewer votes than in 2019 .
