LETTER: Reader says ‘no market’ for used electric vehicles

The following letter is from an electric vehicle owner in response to “COLUMN: The big question about electric vehicles will always be cost,” published May 1 and a follow-up letter titled “Reader crunches numbers around electric vehicles.”

I wonder how much dealers charge for EV trade-ins.

There is no market for used electric vehicles.

No one in their right mind is going to buy a used electric vehicle that will need an $18,000+ battery in two or three years.
