Brent Venables and the Oklahoma Sooners’ recruiting is gaining momentum as the college football season approaches

The Oklahoma Sooners are quietly putting together one of the best recruiting classes in the country as they join the SEC this summer. Brent Venables has already produced three top ten recruiting classes since becoming the Sooners’ head coach in 2022. And despite some national doubts about Oklahoma’s transition to the SEC, their recruiting is starting to pick up steam.

The Sooners already have 20 players committed to 2025, with about 60 percent of those blue chip (four- and five-star) recruits. Let’s take a look at the top names who just announced their intentions to join Oklahoma in the last 2.5 weeks.
