Burnley are willing to sell Connor Roberts

It’s an important season for Leeds United in 2024/25 after coming so close to promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs.

As it turned out, Southampton were too strong for the All Whites and they remain in the Championship for at least another season.

Although never a regular as such, getting only sporadic minutes here and there per WhoScored, January loanee Connor Roberts has nevertheless been a reliable performer for the most part when called upon.

With his parent club Burnley rejoining Leeds in England’s second tier following relegation from the top flight, and Scott Parker now taking over the hot seat from Vincent Kompany, there is every chance he will be looking to get in. a different direction.

Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer Graham Smyth posted on X that he believes Burnley would jump at the chance to sell him permanently to the Elland Road outfit.

Any deal is not a foregone conclusion at this stage, but a move would appear to make sense for all parties.
