Siren Bristol 2024: All you need to know about the Bristol music event

Siren Bristol 2024 is bringing a series of live music events to Bristol’s harborside this summer. Set over multiple days, and featuring an array of genres and massive headline names, the event is just what the city needs following this year’s Bristol Sounds, and Ashton Gate music series, Love Saves The Day and, of course, Glastonbury.

This year’s Siren consists of three days of music – one of which has a line-up of some 33 names in the world of drum and bass music. There’s also a date headlined by a legendary reggae act, and another with one of the biggest girl groups around – who are fresh from a massive crowd at Glastonbury.

We’ve put together a handy guide to all you need to know about this year’s Siren dates – from whether tickets are still available, to where you can park, and what you can and can’t take with you. All information below is correct at the time of writing, but subject to change…

When and where is Siren Bristol taking place?

Siren takes place at Bristol’s Amphitheater on Explore Lane (BS1 5LL) on August 1, 2 and 3.

How to get there – and where to park?

Just off Millennium Square, there’s a multi-storey car park nearby and plenty of travel links – including bus and train. There are taxi ranks at every main travel point in Bristol, they can drop you off on Waterfront Square, right in front of the main gates.

The event site is a ten-minute walk from The Center bus stops. Buses from all across the city terminate here, you can download the FirstBus app ahead of traveling to check your route.

The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads. The event site is a 20 minute walk from the station, or a short transit via taxi/bus – you can take the number 8 bus from the train station which goes via the Harbourside, not far from the site.

Who is on the line-up and are tickets still available?

Siren boasts three separate events this year, headlined by Sugababes, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and the likes of Andy C and Netsky, respectively. Here’s more about each day:

Thursday, August 1 – Sugababes

The original line-up of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy will be headlining the first date of the event, fresh from the massive crowd they had watching them at Glastonbury this year.

The legendary girl group will be supported by Jaguar, Tyler Lewis and Peachin’, with a second stage dedicated to the Pop Confessional Takeover. This date will run from 5pm-10.30pm, and final release tickets are on sale now, ranging from £38.50-£77.

Friday, August 2 – UB40 featuring Ali Campbell

The legendary Birmingham reggae act will be treating the people of Bristol to a night of their biggest and best hits at the Amphitheater for the second day of Siren. They’ll be joined by a special guest (yet to be announced).

The last few final release tickets are on sale – priced at around £61.60 each. VIP tickets have sold out.

Saturday, August 3 – Hospitality on the Harbour

The third and final event of this year’s Siren is dubbed ‘Hospitality on the Harbour’ and the line-up is packed full of artists who will be taking to the Bristol stage between 1pm-10.30pm, for a full day of music. It comes after two sell-out years of what has now been referred to as ‘Bristol’s biggest DNB day party’ – and this year’s line-up is its biggest to date.

Names on the bill include Andy C and Tonn Piper, Netsky, High Contrast, P Money X Whiney, Flava D B2B Lens, Critical Soundsystem ft Enei, Kasra, & Particle, Fred V, Unglued, Anais, Kara, Samurai Breaks, Doktor ft Kanobie, Hoax & PVC, Stay-C, TJ and Georgia. Plus, special guest Little Sound, and hosts Dynamite MC, Carasel, Duskee, Linguistics, Jakes, Ayah Marar, Ruthless and Texas.

Last few final release and early entry tickets are now on sale – priced between £44-£49.50 each.

What can I bring?

There will be no cash machines on site, so make sure you bring means to carry out contactless payments if you wish to purchase anything from the bars and food outlets on site. For security reasons, all ticket holders will be subject to searches at the entrance to the event.

Large bags are not allowed to be taken into the event – small bags no larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) will be allowed. You are also allowed to bring prescribed medication on site when accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate.

Here is a list of items not allowed on site:

• Anything illegal or offensive
• Food and drink – there will be licensed bars and catering on site
• Illegal substances and new psychoactive substances (legal highs) – the organizers “take any drug use very seriously, including the use of nitrous oxide inside or outside the event, and anyone found in possession of drugs may face prosecution”
• Glass or aerosols will not be allowed, including bottles – use a refillable travel perfume atomiser spray bottle, which are available on stores like Amazon (or you may find that your expensive fragrance is confiscated)
• Seats and chairs
• Parasols are not permitted but you may bring a small umbrella if you feel this is necessary depending on the forecast on the day (large umbrellas, golf and fishing umbrellas etc will not be allowed)
• Tents and gazebos, tables, BBQs, stoves and gas canisters
• Banners and flags with sticks/poles
• Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs, are not permitted at any time within any areas of the site
• Dangerous or hazardous items eg knives, scissors, flares, fireworks, lighter fuel, aerosols, spray cans, air horns, klaxons or similar, laser pens
• Chinese lanterns and fireworks
• Bicycles, skateboards and scooters
• Any other items not included in the above list that organizers consider to be unsafe or pose a risk to public safety and/or security.
