Free child car seat checks to be held in Bradford

BRADFORD parents will be able to check their child’s car seat for free at an upcoming event.

It will be held in the Morrisons car park in Rushton Avenue, Thornbury, between 11am and 4pm on July 11.

The event will offer free child car seat checks and fitting guidance.

Statistics show that about two-thirds of child car seats are installed incorrectly.

This data comes from Good Egg Safety, a community interest company dedicated to keeping young people safe.

The event is being held as part of Vision Zero, which aims to eliminate all road deaths and serious injuries in West Yorkshire by 2040.

A key part of the campaign is educating drivers and raising awareness of the actions they can take to improve safety.
