Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 to be unveiled next month » MotorOctane

The Continental GT 750 will be launched as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750. This will be an all-new bike that Royal Enfield will unveil at the EICMA 2017 show on November 7. Rudratej Singh (also known as Rudy) recently tweeted about himself having fun with Royal Enfield CEO Siddartha Lal at the company’s UK technology center in Bruntinghope. Royal Enfield has been working on introducing a new 750 cc bike. It will be made for the European and American market. It looks like it will make its debut in Europe.

The 750cc bike will come with fuel injection and will be Euro VI compliant. An oil-cooled parallel twin engine with six-speed transmission. The image posted on Twitter contains three bikes. This could include the Triumph Bonneville, the classic version of the Bonneville, and the third bike is likely to be the Interceptor 750. This seems to be more of a benchmark test that the top management was part of. Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will get the new bike with a bigger engine for better highway cruising ability in developed markets. This will try to undercut the Triumphs and Harley-Davidsons of the world by making it more affordable.

Right now, the RE Interceptor 750 is in the final stages of testing. This new bike has been designed for the global markets. It will be faster than any of the REs currently sold. Mr. Lal had stated last year that the new bike would be able to compete with other international middleweight motorcycles. This new bike might go on sale in Europe and America first and then come to India after that.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 will have a parallel twin cylinder with 270 degree crank. This is the same engine. This improves refinement and fuel injection means the future is ready. He will have a long run to carry on the tradition and will be the shot with more improvement. This bike will get ABS and there will be 17 inch tires as well.

The key features of this bike will be dual exhaust, ABS, analog instrument cluster, high mounted rear turn signals and round LED daytime running light. The new double chassis will be used. It was inspired by the existing Conti GT platform. It’s bigger, wider and stronger. It has been designed to take the higher torque and vibrations from this engine. The chassis and suspension were tuned by Harris Performance.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 Design

This is RE’s first global product, but it was derived from the Continental GT design. There is no major change in its styling and it looks like an upgraded version of the Conti GT. The Himalaya was the last product to be designed in India after which the work was moved to RE’s satellite center in the UK. Production will be at the Chennai plant. Despite the double cradle frame, the design is pretty much the same. This is a new frame as the current one will not be able to take the load and have no agile handling.
