Seat Leon seized after police chase as police say driver had no insurance or MOT

Police have seized a Seat Leon following a pursuit in Warwickshire. They also caught what they described as a “full house” driver.

A member of Warwickshire Police’s Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) said they were involved in a “short pursuit” before stopping the car just outside Leamington Spa.

“The driver was full,” the team said in a post on their Facebook page. “Provisional license holder, uninsured, untaxed, no MOT and running clone plates. Vehicle recovered.”

It wasn’t the only car they seized over the weekend. They also timed a car on Stanley Road in Nuneaton. The police spoke to the driver and checks revealed that they were disqualified.

The car was impounded and the driver was sent to court.
